How big is the machine?
You can find the dimension of the machine and other specifications and features on the system page.

Do I need any software for this system?
You will need a digital imaging software to print on the heat transfer paper. Adding the imaging software and hardware will only serve to increase your sales opportunities.

What do I need to start using this system?
If you purchased the Platinum package and have a computer. You can start using this system immediately. Adding the imaging software and hardware will increase sales opportunity.

Why color pendants are more expensive than metaza?
ChromaPress color pendants require additional processing at the manufacturing level. This process enhances the color quality of the image.

Do you sell the hat machine or mug machine?
These are not currently part of our offering.

How do I get my machine repaired if it is still under warranty?
Please contact us for specific information.

Can you explain ChromaPress?
ChromaPress is a heat transfer process that enables you to print a color image on our specially coated pendants and accessories.

Can you do color on acrylic?
ChromaPress process does not work with acrylics.

Any foreseen problems with the machine?
The machines are heavy duty and there have not been any documented issues.

Why am I getting lines across my images on the printed image?
There are two common causes of lines in ChromaPress images. One reason is the air vent in the ink cartridge not being opened properly. This is easily resolved by removing the sticker above the ink cartridge. The second issue is the ink at the head of the cartridge drying out from a period of non-use. You can go to your printer program and select clean head to resolve this issue.

Can I print color on surfaces other than your pendants?
You will have to apply a layer of coating on the merchandise you are transferring an image to. The coating comes in a bottle and is called CYO. CaraMax only recommends this process for highly experienced ChromaPress users.

What temperature should I set the ChromaPress heat press? And for how long?
You should set the ChromaPress heat press to 385 degree and 40 seconds. We have tested this setting and found it provides optimum printing on our pendants. Temperature and time varies for other larger items.

Do you provide instructional video or support on the use of the machine?
Instructional documents and telephone support are available for this system. Videos will be available in the future.

How do I ChromaPress on a Zippo?
Adjust the top of the heat press to accommodate the height of the Zippo. See the heat press manual for instruction.

How do I setup the machine?
You can find documentation on How to setup under the Instruction & Training section on the right hand column of this page.

How long does it take to put an image on a pendant?
The Total Average Process Time is: 6 minutes (Novice) to 3 minutes (Experienced).

How long does it take to earn back the initial investment?
The profit margin on all of our systems is in the range of 500 - 900% (est.) You should earn back you initial investment by the time you sell all of the pendants included in the Platinum package. See hypothetical.
